JaxHomeSpy, LLC Book of Defects Contest

1. ELIGIBILITY: Competition open to individuals who are home inspectors, who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and who are 18 years of age or older as of July 1, 2009. JaxHomeSpy, LLC reserves the right to make all decisions on entrants’ eligibility, in its sole discretion.
2. TO ENTER: Contest entry details will be available on the JaxHomeSpy, LLC website, at
Book of Defects. JaxHomeSpy, LLC will select winner in a manner to be determined by JaxHomeSpy, LLC in its sole discretion.
3. ODDS: Your odds of winning depend on the overall number of entries during the Contest Period.
4. PRIZE(S): One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Free Book, plus submitted content (for example, images, descriptions, excerpts) will be highlighted, in a manner to be determined by JaxHomeSpy, LLC in its sole discretion, on the JaxHomeSpy, LLC website, in JaxHomeSpy, LLC’s newsletter, and possibly through other means as determined by JaxHomeSpy, LLC in its sole discretion.
5. NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winners will be notified by email, by mail, and/or by telephone,. JaxHomeSpy, LLC reserves the right, where permitted, to publish the names, photographs, and likenesses of all winners, and winners agree, if requested, to provide JaxHomeSpy, LLC with photographs of themselves, to provide an interview for JaxHomeSpy, LLC, and otherwise to assist JaxHomeSpy, LLC with marketing efforts related to their books and this contest. If any prize correspondence (including email) is returned as undeliverable, or if a winner fails to comply within 14 days from their issuance, that winner’s prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected and notified.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: All images become the dual property of JaxHomeSpy, LLC and original copyright owner, and will not be acknowledged or returned. Submissions may be used in any manner determined by JaxHomeSpy, LLC, including for commercial purposes. All submissions are subject to verification. JaxHomeSpy, LLC assumes no responsibility for entries or data that are lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible, undelivered, garbled, damaged, mutilated, incomplete, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with (and any such entries may be ineligible), or for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. JaxHomeSpy, LLC assumes no responsibility for any technical problems in connection with the transmission or receipt of entry forms or data, including faulty electronic data transmission, traffic congestion on the Internet or on websites, hardware or software error, equipment failure or malfunction, or other online communications problems. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the individual who identifies himself or herself on the entry form. JaxHomeSpy, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for the receipt or use of any prize. If for any reason this contest cannot be run or completed as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest, JaxHomeSpy, LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who is responsible or who tampers with the contest, and to modify, cancel, or terminate the contest, and, if practicable, select winners from among all eligible entrants at the time. This contest is void wherever prohibited or materially restricted by law. Entrants and potential entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of JaxHomeSpy, LLC, which are final.
